Dieppe (Paul) defeated Dieppe (Christine) by a score of 6 to 4 to capture the 2007 S/CP Ringette tournament over the weekend.

Dieppe (Paul) finished the 7 team round robin in first place with 3 wins and no losses to advance to the semifinal (wins by scores of 7-0 against Kent-Sud, 10-5 against Memramcook and ~15-0 against Moncton). They overpowered Shediac 8-1 in the semifinal to advance to the Championship Final against archrival Dieppe (Christine).

Two weeks earlier, the same teams faced each other in the semifinal of the Fredericton Early Bird tournament where Dieppe (Christine) defeated Dieppe (Paul) by the same score of 6-4.

Both Dieppe teams are very strong this year and have limited competition at the house league level. The Fredericton tournament semifinal loss is Dieppe (Paul)'s only loss this year.
